I finished my Ryuichi cosplay in time for Pokettokon. Only Pokettokon was cancelled four days before the event.... Fortunately, we were able to turn the weekend around so it wasn't a waste.

Saturday we went to Chicago and explored the Field Museum. Sunday we went and checked out Anime Zap, a convention put together in 72 hours in place of Pokettokon. It was impressive for the amount of time they had. We got a great photoshoot out of it too. Sadly, my Ryuichi wig did not make it in time though it's been more than a month since I ordered it. Luckily I was able to use my own hair and it came out decent enough.
